A trio of community organizations – including Pacific County Immigrant Support – have joined together to connect Pacific County residents to rent assistance, community resources and program services.
PCIS efforts are provided by our Promotores program – involving four community leaders who are trusted messengers with close ties to our immigrant communities. The program is managed by Pacific County Health and Human Services Department and is funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce through June 2023. For more information email info@pcisupport.org or call (888) 306-0547.
Examples of promoted community resources are food banks, WIC and health services, SNAP program, health insurance and Apple Health, affordable housing and rental assistance, crisis support, diaper services and much more.
Partnering with PCIS are Peninsula Poverty Response and Pacific County Voices Uniting. Outreach focus is Pacific County’s low income (houseless and seniors), Hispanic, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
